Tim and Florence Alfieri started their family-run flooring business in Welland in 1985. Tim had been installing carpet since the age of 16, with his father, so he was no stranger to the industry. His wife, Florence, brought a strong designer influence to the business. Recognizing that the flooring business was as much about Design and Decor Trends as it was about function and utility, ALFIERI FLOOR EXPERTS quickly grew to be recognized in the Niagara Region as a leader in Flooring installation and products. Always committed to carrying a wide variety of styles, brands and types of flooring, ALFIERI FLOOR EXPERTS has partnered with industry leaders since its' inception. Well-known quality brands such as ARMSTRONG, MANNINGTON, SHAW, BRUCE, RICHMOND, MOHAWK and many others.
Tim and Florence's son Michael, came to work for the company at a young age as an installers' apprentice. By 16 years old, Michael had also learned the flooring trade, learning what it takes to install all types of flooring properly. Michaels' role at the store has evolved into lead estimator, and he has been doing so for nearly a decade. He has a vast array of installation skills and knowledge, which allows him to assist our professional installers throughout the execution of any job.
In 2004 Tim and Florence's daughter Amanda and husband Tim Burke joined the team. They helped expand the business by adding a full service Paint, Wallpaper, and Custom Windowcovering store attached to ALFIERI FLOOR EXPERTS called THE PAINT CAN. In the fashion of One stop Shopping, Alfieri's and The Paint Can can provide the home renovator and serial decorator alike with all the products, services and expertise needed to make any project, big or small, beautiful.
